The Beliefs of the Berean Christadelphians

That it was this mission that necessitated the miraculous begettal of Christ of a human mother, enabling him to bear our condemnation, and, at the same time, to be a sinless bearer thereof, and, therefore, one who could rise after suffering the death required by the righteousness of God.
God never fails. No matter what He sets out to do, it has a rhyme and reason. Humanities salvation comes from God, but involves a human being himself. Jesus was a special man, called the only begotten Son of God. We know God has many sons (male and female!) and yet Jesus was special. A sign was given involving his birth. His mother Mary became with child without getting pregnant. A baby suddenly began to develop in her after an angel told her that would happen. Because Jesus the descendant of David and of Abraham, Mary's son, was a man - made of flesh - he was under the same condemnation to death as us. Flesh fails at achieving God's righteousness. He was sinless, but because he was flesh, he admitted God's just condemnation of flesh and the sinfulness it contained. Because Jesus was sinless, God raised him up after 3 days of death. He tasted death fo us! This is because God then accepted the righteousness of this one man, as righteousness to repair the breach with Adam's race that resulted from Adam's sin. Through faith in Jesus Christ, we can get back to God and begin living a righteous life in his care.
